Join Artist Nat Cann in the printmaking studio for a thorough full-day introduction in silkscreen. You will learn the history of silkscreen, the basic steps and materials required to print your own images, and how to reset screens for future use. Classes are limited to only six participants for plenty of workspace and instruction time. All supplies are included.

  • Participants should bring their own high contrast images or stencils.
  • Images can be printed in either mono color or tri-color.
  • Images should be no larger than 5″ x 7″ -ish (we only have so much screen space)

About the Instructor

Nat Cann is a Canadian artist of settler ancestry. Since graduating from Mount Allison University, Nat has enjoyed exhibiting work across Canada in public galleries, artist-run centres, and workshops dabbling in new media, assemblage, experimental printmaking and the typical Atlantic Canadian withering—nature reclaiming the settler’s notion of heritage. Such ideas have been explored from coast to coast via residencies and workshops in lands both fantastic and remote. Nat now resides in Moncton, New Brunswick, on the traditional lands of the Wolastoqiyik and Mi’kmaq Peoples.
