Workshop Description
By popular demand, we are offering a course for those looking to continue the momentum in their ceramics journey! The Beginner+ Pottery workshop is open to those who have completed a Pottery on the Wheel Workshop in the past. This 6 week program will provide 15 hours of time on the wheel with renowned ceramicists to build on your previous learning. Instructor: Ralph Seely.
Participants have the option of purchasing a 25-pound sleeve of clay ($30) from the arts centre in advance (click here), at the time of the workshop with the option to buy more if desired, or bring their own. If bringing your own clay, please contact SJAC before the workshop to confirm that it is safe for our kiln.

Times: Tuesdays, 6:00pm-9:00pm
Dates: February 25, March 4, March 11, March 18, March 25, April 1
Duration: 6 weeks
Registration Fee: $365
Supplies Fee: On or before the first session students must purchase a sleeve of clay $30
Skill Level Prerequisite: Completion of pottery on the wheel course or equivalent

Meet your instructor:
Ralph Seely, a graduate of the New Brunswick College of Craft & Design, is a professional potter who focuses on creating functional pottery intended for everyday use.He is inspired by the natural surroundings where he lives; the powerful ocean, flowing rivers and the changing colours that paint the landscape of Southern New Brunswick. His goal is to bring each piece to life its own unique way.
