The Carnegie Colours are experienced artists who met in workshops held at the Saint John Arts Centre and enjoyed painting together. Wanting this relationship to continue, they formed a group and chose the Saint John Arts Centre as their meeting place. They find encouragement and inspiration in each other’s company through these weekly group meetings.
Each artist has a different style, may use a different medium, and is drawn to paint different subjects. Some are realists, others impressionist. Each work you will see reflects the persona of the artist.
We invite you to share the joy we discovered in painting.
The members of the Carnegie Colors are: Charlene Barry, Penny Burgess, Cathy Dykeman, Shirley Fullerton, Carolyn Killam, Heasun Kim, Carla Perkins, Jacqueline Reeder, Francine Quinn-Steeves, and Sarah Wilson.
