Workshop Description

SJAC is excited to offer an Intermediate Pottery workshop to those who want to hone their skills in this ancient craft. In the 6-week workshop with instructor Molly Davidson, you will bring a level of consistency to your throwing while you experiment with a variety of forms from lidded vessel, including teapots, to jars, and bowls. You will also go into more depth with decoration. This workshop is open to participants who have taken the Intro to Pottery on the Wheel workshop.

Age group: adults

Time: 6:30pm-9:00pm

Dates: Tuesday evenings – September 12, 19, 26, October 3, 10, 17, 2023

Duration: 6 weeks

Fees: $415 (includes instruction, clay, use of tools and equipment, glazing and firing of finished pieces)

Skill level: Students who have taken Intro to Pottery on the Wheel

Capacity: 6 students

About your Instructor

Molly Davidson is a small batch potter who attended the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design and completed her Ceramics Diploma in 2013. She creates functional stoneware pieces inspired by new things all the time and has been at the Arts Centre since 2019.
