About your Instructor

Danielle Marks grew up in Saint John, NB, giving her a natural admiration for nature that lead her to pursue a career in pottery. Her inspiration comes from hiking and camping all over New Brunswick, her current line reflects the forest meeting the rocky cliff edge of the Bay of Fundy.

Danielle graduated with her Bachelor’s of Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick Saint John in 2017. Later deciding to follow a more creative lifestyle, returned to school in 2019 at the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design (right here at SJAC in the Foundation Visual Arts’ first cohort!) – she graduated with her Ceramics diploma in 2022.
