About your Instructor
Tzigane Caddell, retired landscape designer from Rothesay, NB, began exploring natural dyeing in 2017. Indigo dyeing quickly became a consuming passion and is now the central focus of her small-batch fibre-dyeing enterprise – Tzindigo (Tz + Indigo). Tzigane uses shibori resist techniques to create patterns on cotton, linen and silk shawls and scarves and up-cycles linen clothing – giving a second life by resuscitating it in the indigo vat.
