IMPORTANT COVID POLICY UPDATE
As of September 22, 2021, some New Brunswick businesses will require Proof of Vaccination to access non-essential services. All of SJAC’s programs (workshops, galleries, performing arts events, rental events) fall under the included categories of services.
All people aged 12 and up will be required to show their record of immunization or medical exemption certificate and a government issued identification to be able to access our programs.

Join Margo for a six-week quilting/sewing course and make a fun snowflake quilt! You can choose between creating the Snowflake Quilt or bring your own project. You will also learn how to quilt your finished product.
Skill level: Beginners / Please note: This class is for adult learners only.
Tuesdays, 6:30 – 8:30PM • September 14, 21, October 5, 12, 19, 25, 2021 (6 weeks, skips Sept. 28) • Cost: $95
Finished size: 60″ x 72″
- Supplies needed:
• 1.5m of white cotton
• 1m each of four different colours
• 0.5m of binding fabric
• 4.5m of backing fabric
• Quilt batting (cotton/poly blend)
Be sure to bring your pattern the first night of class:

There is also the option of bringing a project of your choice, either a sewing or quilting project.
Other items you will need to bring:
• portable sewing machine
• pins/ safety pins
• seam ripper
• Optional: rotary cutter and mat
About the Instructor:
Margo has over thirty-five years of sewing experience and has an Education degree in Home Economics from the University of New Brunswick, Class of 1991. She has taught sewing to middle school students as well as youth and adult sewing courses for the City of Saint John Recreation Department for numerous years.
