Selected Works of Arthur Bourke Warwick
Art was born in Moncton, New Brunswick, but was raised in an apartment building on Main Street in the North End of Saint John. He started drawing as a young boy at his mother’s kitchen table while he was supposed to be doing his homework.
He began his career at CBC Halifax as a graphic designer and later was a design director at several Canadian television stations including Ottawa, Montreal, Winnipeg and Edmonton. His final position was with CBC Moncton.
Art’s love for travel and adventure resulted in his involvement in the Colombo Plan to set up television in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (1963-1965) and a UNESCO Project in New Delhi, India (1972-1975). He and his wife also spent many winters in Brisbane, Australia and Auckland, New Zealand.
