Remembrance Day Exhibit 2018

In 2015, SJAC instituted a new tradition of honouring a local military veteran with a display case featuring photos, artifacts, and memorabilia from their service. This year, we recognize the contributions of William Harris, who served in the First World War as a boy signaller onboard a ship that was on patrol at the mouth of Halifax Harbour during the Halifax Explosion.

The exhibit is up for the entire month of November, please be sure to enjoy the exhibit during gallery hours (Tues-Sat. 9am-5pm.) SJAC would like to thank local historian Byron O’Leary for his invaluable assistance in presenting this program.
