Artist Statement

I think I was unknowingly interested in portraiture even at a young age. I’ve always been fascinated with people, whether it was the fictional characters I drew as a child, the life models in art school or the people that surround me today, I’ve always enjoyed drawing people the most. I’ve always felt like drawing someone gave me more insight into their personality and their soul. It’s the one subject that’s remained a constant source of inspiration throughout my life.
