Biography

Leonard Mark Lavin is a Saint John artist. He has worked many years as a graphic designer but only recently turned his creative energy to creating art as a means of self-expression and personal exploration. As a relatively new exhibiting artist, he’s working to develop a style which will connect and resonate with the viewer. He graduated from The Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (’92) and from The New Brunswick College of Craft and Design (’13).

Lavin recently held his first solo exhibition at the Charlotte Street Arts Centre in Fredericton, NB. He has also participated in group shows at Gallery Connexion in Fredericton and The Imperial Theatre here, in Saint John. He lives on the city’s west side with his wife and children.
