Artist Statement

I have developed my skills as a photographer by working with many professional photographers and practicing my art across the Canadian landscape. After attending a workshop with André Gallant recently I have seen a dramatic change in the focus of my work. There is a move toward more daring compositions, more artistic presentations of my photography.

I have always been partial to macro photography, discovering the intricacies of the natural world in the smallest details. No one creates jewels like Mother Nature. The images in this exhibit endeavor to capture the wondrous jewels created by Mother Nature in the natural medium of water.
