Artist Statement
The lingering manifestation of memory echoes into present reality, where places of reflective solitude become mysterious in one’s imagination.
Unique vistas where the reality of changing twilight implies a supernatural cross over openly, merging with our own thoughts and imagination as we briefly capture or have an impression of something magical.
To record a whole scene with these concepts and elements of natural transition of time, space and rhythm frozen in a frame is the magic of preserving the fleeting world of this altered perception.
Daylight transitions combined with transitions of landscape and the ever changing human form conveys not only the idea of convergence of the natural and spirit world, but also the merging of imagination with the space of reality.
Consciousness of one’s memory producing residual imagery may also imply the impression that is the manifested presence.
